Zayo Group

Zayo Group is a publicly traded company headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, with European headquarters in London. The company provides fiber-based bandwidth infrastructure services and carrier-neutral colocation. Zayo’s primary customer segments include data centers, wireless carriers, national carriers, ISPs, enterprises, and government agencies.
A survivor of the dot-com bubble, Zayo Group was built largely through acquisitions; it took over thirty companies from 2007-2014, including bankrupt firms such as AboveNet and 360networks.〔 An initial public offering of stock raised $600 million in 2014.

Zayo was founded in 2007 by Dan Caruso and John Scarano. In 2007, Zayo acquired Memphis Networx,〔 VoicePipe, Onvoy Inc,〔 PPL Telcom and Indiana Fiber Works.〔 In 2008, Zayo acquired Columbia Fiber Solution,〔 Adesta Communications assets, two sets of fiber assets from Citynet,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.herald-dispatch.com/x112303236 )〕 two sets of fiber assets from Northwest Telephone, and CenturyTel Regional Markets. In 2009, Zayo acquired FiberNet Telcom Group, Inc.
